Volunteering is fun, easy and a great way to see shows for free! Intrepid Theatre could not run without the help of our incredible army of volunteers who help out with a wide range of jobs, including Fringe box office, tech crew, promotions, info kiosk and more.
Volunteering for Victoria Fringe Festival: August 24 – September 4, 2011 – We need almost 400 awesome volunteers to power the Fringe! Luminara and the Fringe
This year the Fringe Festival turns 25! To celebrate our quarter of a century, we are planning a big party in Centennial Square and part of this will be an incredible illuminated procession of giant puppets and lanterns. If you would like to be involved in helping create the lanterns, email us for more information about drop in studio sessions throughout July and August. No experience necessary!
We are looking for host homes for visiting Canadian and International artists. They don’t require food or transportation, just some privacy and a bed. They generally arrive a day or two before the festival, and leave the day after (so around Aug 22-Sept 6). This is a great way to meet visiting artists and get the inside scoop on the Fringe and what shows to see! Plus to say thanks for opening your home to a traveling thespian, we provide you with Fringe tickets or passes to ensure you can check out the festival in style.
